Application:
Calcium formate, as a new type of feed additive, is suitable for weaned piglets.
Calcium formate, as a new type of early strength agent, has dual functions. It can not only accelerate the hardening speed of cement and enhance the early strength, but also avoid the situation where the setting speed is too slow in winter construction or in low-temperature and humid conditions, enabling the cement product to increase its strength and be put into use as soon as possible, especially contributing significantly to the early strength. For a long time, calcium chloride has been widely used in engineering, but calcium chloride has the effect of corroding steel bars. Both at home and abroad, non-chlorine accelerating agents have been developed. Calcium formate is a new type of early strength material. It can effectively accelerate the hydration of tricalcium silicate C3S in cement and increase the early strength of cement mortar, without causing corrosion to steel bars or polluting the environment. Therefore, it is also widely used in oilfield drilling and well cementing.
