Introduction:
Petroleum jelly is a kind of petroleum grease, which is refined by blending residual oil wax paste with lubricating oil, and is an important lubricant for medicine, daily chemical industry, fine chemical raw materials and precision instruments. The Vaseline products in our country are mainly concentrated on the pharmaceutical Chemicalbook Vaseline, divided into pharmaceutical white Vaseline and pharmaceutical yellow Vaseline two kinds. Pharmaceutical Vaseline is mainly used to prepare ointment, skin protection ointment and cosmetic raw materials, and can also be used as anti-rust lubrication materials for medical instruments and precision instruments.

A white or yellowish homogeneous paste, almost odorless and tasteless, a mixture of liquid and solid paraffin hydrocarbons.
Soluble in ethyl ether, petroleum ether, various fatty oils, benzene, carbon disulfide, chloroform and turpentine, insoluble in ethanol, almost insoluble in water. It is heated into a transparent liquid and fluoresces in the dark after ultraviolet irradiation.
