Properties:
Light yellow brownish powder, grain. Bitter taste. Specific gravity: 1.34-1.40. Soluble in benzene, acetone, methyl alcohol; Insoluble in water.
Application:
An excellent delayed accelerator. The performance is similar to that of Rubace CZ displaying better scorch safety. Widely applied in NR, IR, SBR, NBR and EPDM. Can be applied alone or with those vulcanization accelerators such as thiurams, guanidines and dithiocarbamates to improve the activity. Mainly used in manufacture of tires, shoes and belts. Non-blooming. Not recommended to apply in beverage and food containers because of the bitterness of the product after vulcanization.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place.
The recommended max. Storage life is 2 years when stored under normal conditions.
